PostSubject: The Fear Of The Lord   Thu Oct 23, 2008 1:45 pm

I look forward to the day when I will stand before my Lord, for I will fall on my face in such gratitude and thankfulness that He cared enough to save me from Hell. The presence of the Lord will wipe away all sin that may be in me. I will be pure just as he is pure when I see him face to face (1 John 3:2). There are many people out there who don’t believe that hell last forever, that the body burns up and there is no more. Those who believe this need to look more closely at the Scriptures. Hell last forever, and there is no end. In Revelation Rev 14:11 says (And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.”) this is why it is so important that we understand the severity of claims the Bible makes about Hell. Another false teaching is the OSAS, (Once Saved Always Saved) deception. You can loose your salvation by falling back into sin and remain unrepentant. Scripture says do not grieve the Holy Spirit. In Revelation 2:5 it says that God will take the Holy Spirit out of you if you do not repent of your evil ways. In the text he is talking to the Church of Ephesus
(Rev 2:5 Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lamp stand from its place.) the lamp stand represents the Light of the Holy Spirit in a believers life. The Holy Spirit is the most precious thing that any human could ever receive from God and we need to hold on to it with every thing we got. It pleases the Lord to walk in righteousness so lets do our very best to please Him. Under stand that no one is perfict, only Jesus Christ is perfict, and we are all sinners, even the most holy of us Christians are still stained with sin, but we do not live in that condition like the heathen do. We call out to our God who saved us and who forgave us of our sins and He is faithful and just to forgive us all our sins. Blessed be your Name forever and ever, Amen. Come soon Lord Jesus.
